Coaching Package
Also called: Coaching Program, Coaching Engagement, Coaching Offer
Definition
A coaching package is a bundled offer that includes a defined number of sessions, a set duration, and a specific intended outcome, sold at a single price. Instead of selling individual sessions at an hourly rate, a package groups everything into one commitment. A typical package might include twelve 60-minute sessions over three months, plus email support between sessions, for $3,600.
Why it matters for coaches
Selling sessions by the hour puts you on a treadmill. You earn only when you coach, and clients can cancel anytime. Packages solve both problems. They create predictable revenue because clients commit upfront. They also produce better results because clients stay long enough for real change to happen. Packages shift the conversation from “How much per hour?” to “What’s the outcome worth?” That reframe is what separates coaches earning $50/hour from those charging $5,000 per engagement.
Example
Generic: “I charge $150 per session and clients book as many as they want.”
Package-defined: “My signature ‘First 90 Days’ package for new managers includes eight biweekly sessions, a leadership assessment, and Slack access for quick questions. It’s $2,400 and I guarantee at least three measurable leadership wins by the end.”
